The Chinese eat all these weird things because protien is hard to come by there. If you see a population eating bugs and other weird things like that, look at available protein. If they can't get high quality protien, they have to get it in alternative forms. If they didn't eat all the weird shit, they probably wouldn't be healthy at all.
