Dallas User ID: 92632 United States 08/08/2006 01:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I need a mag like Forbes to campaign for the reform the US Dollar. It's collateralized by investors which charge interest. It needs to be collateralized with the social security tax instead so that the interest flows back into the hands of the workers instead, multiple times over via fractional reserve lending. It's part of ending poverty as we know it, which is what Bono is dedicated to. He likes Forbes over the other options out there, because in his eyes they have credibility in the consistent message of their editorials over the years that prove their dedication to the idea of wealth creation for everyone, spreading wealth, etc. Right there in sync with Bono's quest to end poverty. |

paranoid eyes User ID: 79203 United States 08/10/2006 10:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | before you go criticizing a rich man who works tirelessly to help the poorest amoungst us, ask yourself this, would youinvest your money wisely if you were rich? would it make you a bad person? what if you used your power money and influence to benefit third world nations? what if you influenced rich investors to give $$ to end world poverty? people i know who work for this man say he spends a lot of his time working for the benefit of peoples he has never met. i do some volunteer work for the one campaign and it is an awesome organization. we have raised hundreds of millions for poverty and all its ills. nopt like the pat robertsons of the world who take money from old grannies social security checks and buy planes for his diamond mines in africa. mines that employ slaves and murder opponents. when facism comes to Amerika, it will come wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross. sinclair lewis He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. neitsche |
