loud booms sound like fireworks finale but louder wtf

just heard it again ten mins ago notts uk, same as last time but alot shorter than last time, just like fire works, maybe it was this time.

The best way i can describe it is like fireworks in rapid sucession with no pause, ive no idea what it is but thats the second time now i've heard it, i'll wait on the papers tomorrow see if anyone else heard it.

could be gunfire.

They seem to follow these bright flashes in the sky.

Maybe I can measure the boom source flashes with my kite flying with speaker wire hooked up to my Ohm meter?

No none of the above, maybe its some dark force trying to get in to our world like the evil dead movie seriously i dont know what it is or was.
