Is 70 old?

That's a tiny bit below average life span for males these days IIRC but I'm curious- what do you have in mind for him if it is old?

I am 46 and I am old. I have false teeth and hearing aids. I have arthritis and clogged arteries. Have had 2 strokes. Have gray hair and a bald spot.

What aged me so fast? Other than time travel? Hard labor in the hot sun.

At 44, Sam Bryant Jr. turned to the gym to deal with his personal problems. At 70, he's a bodybuilder at the same tier as the young guns.

My dad is 72 and pretty much has one foot in the grave. He has wanted to die for years. As a matter of fact, he is in the hospital now because of a prescription drug overdose.

On the flip side, his sister is 82 and you can't slow her down. I have a coworker who just retired at 76 - can't slow him down, either.

So, "old" is a state of mind. Not a number.

OP, to answer your question, their is no such thing as old. Just older.
