Why does God protect the Devil?

Because reasons. Basically, god is a dick with the darkest sense of humor you've ever heard of.

This world does not function the way it appears to.


That discourages me. I have great sadness in my heart because of that. I feel like everything I have ever done is all in vain. I couldn't make anything happened.

I crafted boulders and threw them into the sea that were like pebbles when they struck the water. Yet others cast in pebbles and received a much greater splash then my boulders.

My guess is because even though his kid (Satan) is a dick he still loves him. Much like people.

The reason is grace

Because they are one in the same.

In order to be completely just God even has to be just to his adversary.

There is no devil. There is no evil, but which man has created himself.

He doesn't protect him he allows him. But has cast him out of heaven forever

Because the Devil keeps him in business amongst earth believing purists.

And so He gives men/women up to their own lusts to live under their own sin

He's the devils keeper. Everybody has a keeper.

Why don't you bother to educate yourself before making arbitrary statements?

God's right hand is another Archangel, Lucifer has orders just like the rest of us.

Because of mathematical principals and physics. Every action has and equal and opposite reaction. In order for us to be here, He had to be he. We can not know good from evil or even have wizdom and free will, if their was no negative energy/ satan. Nothing can survive including time in the physical realm without matter. Satan is everything that separates , while God is everything that joins.

Actually, you might even say to opposite is true, since it is clear that god separates everything and Satan likes to bring unlikely situations together. what ever is going on it appears to be socially disfunctional.

God is a fair God, and a just God. Satan has made charges against God, that God is a tyrant and that nobody can keep His commandments. Satan also wanted to be "like the Most High".

So... In the process, Satan became the REAL tyrant, while God allowed him to "prove" his charges against God. Imagine if God has destroyed Satan IMMEDIATELY, when Satan turned on Him, and levied charges of tyranny against God. Then some (or all) of the angels that stayed loyal to God, would have much more likely sympathized with Satan, and even believed the charge that God is indeed a "tyrant".

The problem people have with Satan being allowed to "run wild", is twofold.

1) Satan is NOT allowed to "run wild". He is only allowed to do what God permits. If Satan was allowed to do whatever he wants, you would not even be alive right now, and wouldn't even be reading this. God is allowing the whole universe to see the results of sin and rebellion, and the results of a created being, determined to "be like the most high". God's character is on trial, and he is allowing the devil himself, to vindicate His (God's) character, by demonstrating to the unfallen universe God's ultimate fairness and justice. God could have exterminated Satan the minute he sinned. But Satan is being given his "day in court", and he is doing exactly as God planned, by proving who the REAL tyrant is.

Most people do not understand, that this whole thing is far bigger than just planet earth. There is heaven and a whole universe paying attention to this theater, called earth.

2) To God, a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day. So the last 6,000 years may seem like forever that God is allowing this theater to continue, but in reality, it is only like 6 days to God.


Yeshua came to this earth to demonstrate to the universe who the REAL tyrant is, and to show that God's commandments CAN be kept. So of course, we all know what happened to Yeshua as a result. And all those who seek to keep God's commandments will also be persecuted and oppressed by the demonic realm, as well.

If you are not trying to obey God, then Satan is not specifically targeting you, and wants you to just keep on doing what you are doing. In fact, there is a fair to midland chance that Satan my proper you with power, fame, or fortune. He offered these things to Christ as well, but Christ rebuked him with "It is written".

Anyway... That's my take on it. A servant is NOT greater than his master. If Yeshua was allowed to be persecuted and to suffer, then all who seek to obey God can expect the same. And all those who do not obey the will of God, are given their season in the sun, but will very well reap what they are sowing.
