Later tonight some will be putting on a uniform, badge, and a pistol belt, heading out to go patrol are streets -- and many of them will not be returning home to their families on Christmas morning. Did the cop who stomped my face in about fifteen years ago go home that night and say a prayer for me? Did he feel bad when I had to have shots in my gums that night at the hospital just to dull the pain enough so I could sleep? Where were his prayers when I had to endure hours and hours of cosmetic oral surgery just to make my smile look halfway normal as to how it used to be? Fuck em. I have no sympathy for thugs on EITHER side of the conflict. There are MANY thug cops, who just give you a hard time sometimes because they CAN. |
