How many of you refused to give out your E-Mail while shopping this year?

I just give them one I set up for fakery. Easy enough.

I refused harbor Freight when they asked.

the most honest approach. lets them know customers don't like it as much as they think.

i always say no....its a pain in the a$$! they always ask for phone number and everything else i just keep saying nope!

I had to return something to Toy r Us last week that I paid CASH for and had the receipt for.

The lady wanted to swipe my drivers license for the return.

Anyways, I made a big stink about it and said to get the manager.

Long story short.

I won.

I just make one up....sometimes, the most dirtiest I can make it.

Not worth the hassle of arguing with them when they ask why not?

Do the same when they ask for a phone number. Even with an address they get the local baseball park address.

Mostly, the clerks are just doing what their bosses tell them to do.

I can't stand this - they act as if it is the most important thing in the world, or if you refuse to give it, a kitten gets stomped on.
