Rubbing Alcohol is refined wood based. Kerosene heaters were sold in the 70's & 80's because of the shock oil price increases. (Oil was sold at $3 a barrel then). These carbon ejector death traps were really easy for me to see (I'm very environmentally sensitive). I would certainly consider this methodology for future testing purposes to see if it can be healthy with some kind of ventilating system and super-safe against house fires. |

I remember noticing that the water in kerosene makes the room damp and encourages mold. People still use them in the UK. Ugh! |

I tried it with the breadpan and it was a serious firehazard. As far as the heat, the flowerpot did get hot but I'm not certain that the heat was multiplied exponentially. Just my 2 cents |
