Just watched the cekebration on BFMtv, very low key, not the Eiffel tower as usual, the commentator just said that up until a few minutes before midnight it was still not known if there were going to be any fireworks, and they were set off on the Arc de Triomphe and nit the Eiffel tower, which is usual and had been prepared? Strange New Year Fireworks in Paris, NOT on Eiffel tower at last minute LOL maybe! Apparently the "authorities" were not permitting any fireworks over the city tonight. Then just at last minute the Arc de Triomphe lit up, looked makeshift. I checked on You Tube and immediately after midnight there was this complete con broadcast. Saying it was the 2014/15 fireworks.....someone trying to make money I suppose, but it was definitely NOT on the Eiffel tower. [link to youtu.be] Fake firework display........
