He already made his position on gun rights/laws known, he will not do anything to change the current laws. And to add another note, with the supreme court ruling on the case in North Carolina, regardless if the reason the cop pulled you over was legitimate or not, you have no protection from illegal search and seizure. Quoting: m0tivati0n_2.o probably a nationwide database of CCW so cops in one state can verify CCW of a person in their state. that sounds reasonable. the pigs in MD must also use it to determine who from out of state has a CCW just so they know. that also sounds reasonable, but anything further like using it as cause to search your car, search your person, search your hotel room, search the house you are a guest at, etc. is a misuse of that capability and has turned their query of that database into a violation of your 4th amendment rights. they didn't have the right to search the database for that reason. |
