Catholics go to communion to "Eat the body of Jesus" (cannibalism) and "drink his blood" (vampirism).

In order to do that, a mere mortal, a priest, has to change a wafer (Jesus chip) into a piece of Christ's human body. Christ was not only human, he is God, but there is one God, so he is 1/3 of the 1 God, (Three, Three, Three Gods IN one!)

You Catholics are fucked in the head if you believe any of this shit! How many billions of Jesus chips have been served?!!

How could Jesus possibly have been big enough to feed all those Mexicans, Italians, and Irish?!!! It's fucking impossible- simply son enough Jesus to go around! And how does a fucking priest change a piece of wafer into a piece of God? Totally unqualified/impossible/you're fucking dreaming and should be put in a mental institution.

I used to be a Catholic, and even as a kid it used to remind me of some kind of vampire-like cult ritual.

I think it was added into Catholic dogma in the early days of the Church, when their numbers were small and they had to attract more worshippers by incorporating parts of other religions into their belief system so as to make it more appealing.

For example, some theologians and Biblical scholars believe that the veneration of the Virgin Mary is just a reworked version of the cult of the goddess Isis. Interestingly, this cult started to decline around the time that the Mary worshipping began.

Before His death, Jesus commanded His disciples to partake of the supper in His remembrance.

(Matthew 26.26-28; Mark 14.22-25; Luke 22.14-19.)

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body.' And He took the cup, and gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, 'Drink ye all of it; for this is My blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

"This do in remembrance of Me.”

Apart from this supper, nothing else is said in the Bible to be done in Christ's remembrance. Neither Christmas or Easter is mentioned anywhere in the Bible as a memorial of our Lord.

The Bible makes it clear that the early Christians met on the first day of the week (Sunday).
(Acts 20.7; 1 Corithians 16.1-2.)

Also, when they met, all of them partook of the supper.
(Acts 2.42.)

Here's a hint, that
catholics ignore,
Judas took communion
with Christ, and
then went out and
betrayed Him.

How would that be possible,
if the body and blood
symbol is literal?

It is quite beautiful and sublime.
Also, it's not referred to as a "chip" it is referred to as the Holy Eucharist. Most all Christian religions do some form of breaking bread and sharing wine in rememberance and being in communion with Jesus.
But, if you don't have a true understanding of the faith or the teachings of Christ then it would be hard for you to fully comprend.

Also, remember this about the Catholic Church. It is not the fault of the Church itself that there are problems in the Church. All the Churchs in the world have problems. The problems are caused by humans. We all sin, each and everyone one of us, Catholics, Muslims, Jews all of us, every single person in the world. Some might even say that you committed a sin with the way you asked your original question and by some of the answers and comments presented here too.

Let the bashing begin..I can just feel it coming.

When you leave the Catholic faith, your family and friends disown you. It is a high pressure religion if you go against them or leave. It is best to sow seeds of information, than to curse them for their errors. If you curse them, they will probably not bother checking out what you are trying to teach them. Pray for peace! cheer

The comments here are shameful! Jesus tells us to "love your neighbor as your self". Trashing Catholics in this forum is not following Jesus. Catholics are in error, but you are not going to change them by cursing at them! I was raised Catholic, and finally read the Bible myself and found out the truth. It is very difficult for adults to change something they were told to do all their lives. When you leave the Catholic faith, your family and friends disown you. Yep. Read Gosple of Holy Twelve instead. Well give you the real Jesus. He was a vegetarian and came down to tell us to stop eating animals! So of course he wouldn't advocate drinking blood or eating flesh - He is completely against that. The false pericope was inserted into NT by State run religion set up by double agent Paul/Saul.

Re: Why do Catholics eat "Jesus Chips" and "drink his blood"...Isn't that both sick and impossible?!
Theology of transubstantiation

When at his Last Supper Jesus said: "This is my body", what he held in his hands had all the appearances of bread. However, the Catholic Church believes that the underlying reality was changed in accordance with what Jesus said, that the "substance" of the bread was converted to that of his body. In other words, it actually was his body, while all the appearances open to the senses or to scientific investigation were still those of bread, exactly as before. The Church believes that the same change of the substance of the bread and of the wine occurs at every celebration of the Eucharist.

The bread is changed in the Eucharist into Jesus' body, but, because Jesus, risen from the dead, is living, not only his body is present, but Jesus as a whole, body and blood, soul and divinity. The same holds for the wine changed into his blood.

The Catholic Church accordingly believes that through transubstantiation Christ is really, truly and substantially present under the remaining appearances of bread and wine, and that the transformation remains as long as the appearances remain. For this reason the consecrated elements are preserved, generally in a church tabernacle, for giving holy communion to the sick and dying, and also for the secondary, but still highly prized, purpose of adoring Christ present in the Eucharist.

The Catholic Church considers the doctrine of transubstantiation the best defence against what it sees as the mutually opposed errors of, on the one hand, a merely figurative understanding of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist (the change of the substance is real), and, on the other hand, an interpretation that would amount to cannibalistic eating of the flesh and corporal drinking of the blood of Christ (the accidents that remain are real, not an illusion).

Scriptural foundations

As already indicated, the Roman Catholic Church sees as the main basis for this belief the words of Jesus himself at his Last Supper: the Synoptic Gospels (Mark 14:22-24; Matthew 26:26-28; Luke 22:19-20) and Saint Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians 11:23-25 recount that in that context Jesus said of what to all appearances were bread and wine: "This is my body … this is my blood." (Protestants generally interpret this less literally than Catholics.)

The Gospel of John presents Jesus as saying: "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in you … he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him" (John 6:53-56), and as then not toning down these sayings, even when many of his disciples thereupon abandoned him (John 6:66), shocked at the idea.

Saint Paul implied an identity between the apparent bread and wine of the Eucharist and the body and blood of Christ, when he wrote: "Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord" (1 Corinthians 11:27).

If anyone denies transubstantiation, according to the false doctrine of Rome, they are accursed.

The Council of Trent is still RC doctrine, even to today. (The Council of Trent was a Catholic council held from 1545-1563 in an attempt to destroy the progress of the Protestant Reformation.)

Catholicism is just a giagantic ball of lies.

THIRTEENTH SESSION, CANONS ON THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST: "If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most Holy Eucharist are contained truly, really and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently the whole Christ, but says that He is in it only as in a sign, or figure or force, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA" (Canons on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Canon 1).

THIRTEENTH SESSION, CANONS ON THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST: "If anyone says that Christ received in the Eucharist is received spiritually only and not also sacramentally and really, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA" (Canons on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Canon 8).

It's not just Catholics, lots of Protestants have communion. I was raised Methodist and, as a kid, I just figured the grape juice and crackers was snack time and we got a break from having to hear a long boring that Sunday. I pretty much ignored any concept that it was cannabalism. I think that I'd turned off most of what adults said by the time I was 7 or 8 since they were clearly moronic.

Catholics are not Christians. They have been deluded by the world's largest cult. The "Protestants" of today are mostly free-will arminians, which is just a Roman Catholic in a new wrapper.
