Oil Showdown?

Could someone please tell me of the percentage of oil extracted, is used in the powering of automobiles?

Ok, thanks for that. So, it seems that out of every barrel of oil (159 litres), approx 73 goes to the manufacture of Gas (petrol), 40 goes to deisel and goes to jet fuel. All of these for the use of powering trasportation of one kind or another. So. Out of every 159 litres of oil, 129 litres is used. With that in mind, this news item may be of some interest for you.

One would hope so. Question is....this going to spread and what else is going to mutate or unfold. Would be good if these things happen to be sure. I'm getting sick of paying nearly 10 dollars a gallon over here!

Something has got to give, that's for sure. What though? It's a complex situation worldwide, and at the moment it doesn't seem to be getting any clearer, quite the reverse.

Oil going south, but wow,....look at the price of metals right now!!!!
