It reminds me much of the comments that were muttered in the early 90's about the internet. You will eat your words in due time. :) Bitcoin can not be hacked. it is IMPOSSIBLE. The 'hackings' are theft from exchanges in which the hackers have discovered a vector to attack the exchange hot wallets. I've had 10BTC in this address since October 2013. Still hasn't been 'hacked'. I beg anyone to please steal them. Go ahead. Try!! [link to blockchain.info (secure)] Last Edited by mr_brightside74 on 01/07/2015 11:33 PM Mr. Brightside |

Its just silly how many problems this thing has had in its young life. Nothing digitally electronic is "secure". If humans built it....humans can tear it down. Proceed accordingly. Agreed |

I mean the money isn't backed by anything tangible and does not even exist as paper or coin (at least not in its default state). In fact, just like the current money system, it's just digits on a computer screen, and those digits are decided upon by your masters. So how much is it worth again? |

And to be honest I don't care about those people who made a lot of our current dollars in profit from their tradings with Bitcoin - it is still the same CON that the current FIAT money system imposes. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 65182015 United States 01/08/2015 01:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Bitcoin is the peaceful revolution and it may be our only option for a true revolution. It looks like complex mathematics that would take eons to calculate by hand. It is stupid to do anything illegal with them because every transaction is recorded and everyone has access to the transaction history. If your address is known like the previous poster who identified himself as the owner of that btc address you can watch everything that flows in or out of that wallet. If illegal activity is caught, the block chain is great evidence. Lawmakers are favoring it because it is more traceable than cash, in fact it is entirely traceable. They have been lured into letting it stay as legal currency, now we must buy them all and throw the dollar in the sea. |
