A lot of the voices in the british media have been downplaying the muslim element so far, saying we shouldn't jump to conclusions despite the fact we have video of them shouting Islamic phrases and dressed in ISIS garb. They'll probably say the guys who did it were just crazy individuals and Islam had nothing to do with any of this eventually.

I think the amount of blood can depend a lot on where he got shot. Also the blood could be pooling behind his head out of view of the camera.
