BUT if you know the real reason behind, therefore this feels so much different:

the real reason for distributing the Koran is that if you get the Koran and do not convert to Islam, then you can get killed (i.e. it is more justified to get killed) since you got known the "real faith" and still ignore it. Then you are not worth to live.

They still treat unbelievers who never read the Koran or heard about it differently. But since you got the Koran and still did not believe, they have to attack and kill you. At least it is justified in their view.

Oh, and I forgot:
and if you refuse to take the Koran, that is also bad for you. Then they have also the justified reason that you as an unbeliever can get killed.
So, you see, the same if you refuse or take the free Koran - in case you do not convert - you got a problem.

In the Bible...the apostles were told to shake the dust off their feet if they were rejected. (Matthew 10:14) This felt eerily similiar- but we all know what they do to infedels who reject the Koran.
