ask any older person like 70 or more an the will tell how much simpler an better it used to be they could leave there doors unlocked ,less stress, kids could go outside unwatched an play,a family could make it on ONE blue collar job, no police in schools or cameras everywhere watching you,e,t.c but at same time love an want latest medical advancements, jet aircraft, safer cars, air conditioning, technical advances all around that help make life easier an safer,BUT is the cost trade off WORTH IT in the end,for every thing that is supposed to make are life easier it just seems to create more problems an matainence, care an resource depletion, then they keep F,ING up like look at the blow back with nuclear power plants after 30 years of power you stuck dealing with the most toxic waste from hell forever,or they are making antimatter lazer weapons now, where will this end?they allready have enough atomic weapons to blow up the earth several times ,it is becoming total out of control madness.Do you agree, what do you think, which way should we go.back, forward or a little of bothwtfdamned

We did not have air conditioning back when I was a child. We did not have electricity, we did have batteries for radio, but not lights. We had a batteries operated Wringer washing machine until it tore up.

Modern medicine is not that great, not to me, I see more people dying young than I used to. We had good doctors, not specialist but ones who studied the whole body and made house calls. They even cared about people and you did not need an appointment.

You don't have what we used to have because of the modern world, places to run and play. I played in the woods, climbed trees, built tepees all kinds of things. We went swimming in a creek and a swimming pond. This helped cool you off on a hot summer day. Winters were cold but we stayed warm enough, fireplace and a wood stove. No so bad, and I would go back. I would like to keep some of the things I have learned to make things a little easier on us, but it would not have anything to do with, electricity.
Daughter out with my own way.
