When people do not like their own company is because they have personal issues they have to deal with and would rather ignore them, they hate introspection.

People that hate introspection need distractions...

And in most cases, that is all you become to someone from a dating site... a distraction to keep them away from introspection...

Then with time those character flaws they been ignoring will start affecting the relationship and that person is down to two options... 1) face their flaws, do some introspection and grow 2) ignore it and do whatever it takes to keep ignoring it, even end the relationship.

Most people pick #2 and go back on the dating site again.

I think it would be a great idea to get some "cast" members..

I date online and I screen people. You have to screen people. Its a vibe like everything else. You can spot hustlers be them male or female. This would include green card seekers, police stings, gold diggers, or people who want to steal your identity or just plain serial killers. Luckily what I seek is not in any of those parameters to attract all of that. So I don't meet a lot of people. Recently I met someone I adored and they broke my heart. I gaveb it almost a year (casually) and let them set the pace and they still screwed it up so bad I will never go back out with them again. Sad because I miss them (what little I saw of them) but I deserve way way WAY better.
