So, please do share and thank you. 5* It's a piece of music, so hopefully that won't upset anyone. It is modern in its composition and style, also hoping that isn't a problem either. When you take a lot of time to make something it's nice to be able to share it in the hopes that someone might enjoy it. I appreciate this opportunity to post it. As I said, don't want to detract from the main conversation but I do appreciate the ability to share a "doomy" composition that I made a while ago. So, Listening to this beat in the video provided by OP, it has a similar drum beat Dum Pa Dum Ta Ta, Dum Pa Dum Ta Ta, Dum Pa Dum Ta Ta listen again and you will hear it..... How does one search this? Well, I did, (dances imitating movement dum pa dum ta ta) Here is what I found....... BIRTH DANCE!!! It is a semi-hypnosis of a woman (earth?) in labor.... No, unfortunately they are not in chronological order. After discovering the 2 bar booms that you hear in the arrangement I then wanted to find other sections that rhythmically discernible within a series of measures. In a way, I treated it like a puzzle and looked for pieces, saved them in a little clip library and then arranged them into a musical order. I was curious to see how it would sound. After being surprised by the result the logical thing to do in regard to arrangement was to put the clips in a musical order (so to speak). The arrangement is unique to me but the puzzle pieces I have used in the arrangement are extracted from skysound compilation videos from YouTube. I also worked quite hard to clean up pops and clicks (you can only do so much) and used a compressor to even out the sound of the different volume levels of the recordings so that it sounded more cohesive. OP Nice work again btw Is the compressor the only effect youve added? No trem reverb, chorus etc..... Did you try Audacity to remove and of the voices from the videos? and if so did it change the main arrangement? I suspect if these sounds are authentic, not your but the originals, we are dealing with man made sound, maybe defense related or even private industry My original post about the certainty of the 128bpm was really zeroing on a man made sound |

Sound is vibration & waves but I have heard music well described as the sculpting of sound using time. The fact that these sounds conform to musical norms is really odd. It's possible to records hours of external audio & not get patterns such as these that will arrange into something.... |
