Quoting: mots de la tribu 140292

Thanks Zak for keeping this thread going, it's given me some inspiration to write again.

Enjoy

I see a rose in the darkness,
hiding her beauty within;
Awaiting the heat of a shimmering sun,
'fore she let's our love affair begin.

Her looks are to die for,
and her loving sublime;
One hint of her sweet scent,
and your smitten for all time.

Her smile's so alluring,
her lips are the trap;
Once you've sampled her wares,
there's no going back.

To love her and leave her,
is not part of your plan;
You've set out to prove,
that you are her man.

Things they go sour,
you cannot believe;
That she'd leave such a stud,
and fuck off and leave.

It slowly dawns on you,
that you're not her type;
She likes them more rounded,
that's right she's a dyke.

Thank you for returning 4by2. I read your poetry in a thread you posted a while back.

I find it excellent and am honored to continue reading your work. headbang

I see fawnknudsen,...thank you for posting.

"At the Cancer Clinic

She is being helped toward the open door
that leads to the examining rooms
by two young women I take to be her sisters.
Each bends to the weight of an arm
and steps with the straight, tough bearing
of courage. At what must seem to be
a great distance, a nurse holds the door,
smiling and calling encouragement.
How patient she is in the crisp white sails
of her clothes. The sick woman
peers from under her funny knit cap
to watch each foot swing scuffing forward
and take its turn under her weight.
There is no restlessness or impatience
or anger anywhere in sight. Grace
fills the clean mold of this moment
and all the shuffling magazines grow still.

When you walk in what walks out?
I see but I don’t, what’s it all about?
You are wise beyond all I talk to
Then asleep again where are you?

I need guidance and yuck, hope
But a flash I forget, is the only rope
Snatched quickly least secrets are told
Then back you go to the one so cold

You are right to not trust this one
The devil still resides behind the sun
But you are the crowd, the beggar, the boss
You are so many yet I only feel loss

Do you pass through them unfelt?
Do you share the life that was delt?
Do you protect karmic balance intact
To pay for the one who left by pact

Do you know where you are from
Oh the questions go on and on
One day I will know, I am sure
Insane when He opens the door!

Dear Zacksavage, I'm terminated because my hundred seventeen cents daily doesn't allows me thirty cents for paid membership (just a change - as 2X said). I am sick and tired of pushing me in lower cast as in India. I was nobody and I choose rather to be none then the part of this separation. As some of you know, I am not well versed in English, never learned and never will, obviously. Disallowing me to edit my messages totally ruins my presence. However, it was pleasure to read your poetry guys and gals.

Now you can enjoy the ride.

Take care.

20-40

My last poem for you:

Together

If that serious alliance lies ahead, let every necessary word would be said,
remembering the blood that we have shed.

Keep in mind that there are things we must forget.

Beware of tragedy left, right and center
don't allow hell on earth to enter
get rid off all the damage in your head
remember there is an enemy in your bed.

The jokes on me, but then wishes and hopes come true,
for sure, and out of the blue,
it is some of you for your past rich and poor towards - that hard encore.

I have walked on the sands like the chosen
the original man from lands sacred
battled some Balkan Zulu-like tribes
for the passion of word play and swam.

I've seen the sun rise in the east and set in the west
plotted stars charts and directions for God to manifest.

From the peaks of the pyramids, I left tags in dark graves
that gave humanity clues on how to star gaze.
I have seen a snake shed its skin like the seasons and change,
I've seen world rearranges in a flash.

Now for this cash they rape lands strictly for wealth
it has left me stranded in a spiritual realm all by myself.

Headed to Mecca I stopped and spoke with tribes
chanted native dialects over the hill I felt vibes.
Threw my hands in the sky then beat them hard on a
drum over the horizon I waited for freedom to come.

However, the ships just keep sailing and whips just keep cracking.

I wonder where I am so I begin back tracking through the
Solomon's dynasty - I read the snake took Mt Zion.
Across the mains like I was riding on a zebra the Ashanti
Some draped me in robes or royalty; the shiny tribe blessed me,
saying Keep in mind that there are things we must forget.

With lyrical ability its beauty infinite and there is just no debating.

I am a ball of beeswax...
when warmed by your presence,
become soft, malleable, sweet
acquiescing to your touch,
intricately designed by your sweet fingerprints
emitting our combined hallowed fragrance

Under pressure, I become flatten out,
misshapen,
not resembling the symmetry of my former being.

but when exposed to the heat of your love,
or your grace,
or your strength,
or your laughter,

or your going...
I cry clear tears...

that fall and harden,
fossilizing each drop
into the shared memory from whence they were born.

and someday when I lose sight
of that which once was us
I’ll scrape them up...
regather them into one form...
warm them with the hands of our souls

until our memories and we, once again...

become one.

Re: Does anyone here do GodLike Poetry??Quote

When anger is my most used tool
How then is anger fought?
It is strong and wild like a fool
And was warned against, not taught

But anger has been with me
Ever since I was young
The paths of nerves like a tree
Grow and release through bitter tongue

Conversation lost to shouting
And siblings fought off with defence
And ignored was the sulky pouting
From a child with no reference

Parents did not talk or laugh
To release the stress within
Only resentment and wrath
Made up for a long dead sin

But God! No! I did not want to be
The one I had now become
defend myself from what I see
With the same barrel of the gun

What a mess, I steal myself away
To fight this battle in the dark
And hide from the light of day
Not baring the sun or the park

But back to the world I went
My work not yet surfaced & flawed
My charm is crippled and bent
To interact with people, my anger soured

It had not gone, these patterns of old
And I revert to how I it was when young
With parents, siblings and how I was told
Adults and love shout to have their fun

If something’s wrong let your wrath
Resolve the problem you need to end
So now I am fury, but not on the path
Where patience and serenity is the trend

You need peace but I am without
You carefully test to see if its there
But YES IT IS!! you hear me shout
WHERE ARE YOU? IT ISNT FAIR!!

I did not come with perfection true
I came because I need help divine
And I thought I would get it from you
But now I can barely think of a rhyme

Let alone pass your tests so tender
Nothing a normal person could not do
But anger is the only thing I render
Strong and fast and even at You :-(

What secret is it that I lack?
My mother is still working hard
PMT sends wolves like a pack
And you give me the red card

Catch each detail, the tiny and the small
This I am trying to do each day inside
But when the test comes I only stall
In the face of what I wish I could hide

‘Don’t think of time’ the wise have said
I never saw it existing anyway
But someone less angry instead
May be easier taught today

Thank You for your listening
I mean not a harsh word
When tears are finally glistening
Maybe then I will be less absurd

Edit, Main Herr,…thank you for the photographs.
Deep Sleep Memory,… how interesting.

“Sakura (Japanese kanji) is the Japanese name for ornamental cherry trees, Prunus serrulata, and their blossoms. Cherry fruit (known as sakuranbo) come from a different species of tree. Sakura, a well-known and ubiquitous symbol of Japan, are represented on all manner of consumer goods, including kimono, stationery, and dishware. Cherry blossoms are an enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life, and as such are frequently depicted in art. There is at least one popular folk song, originally meant for the shakuhachi (bamboo flute), titled "Sakura", as well as a number of pop songs. "Sakura" is also a common Japanese female name.”

Here's a limerick that I made up in college:

If, inside a circle
There is a line
That runs from spine to spine

And the line's length is D
The circumference would be
D times 3.1459

I'm such a romantic! Have a great day!

Last night I've stumbled upon messages of great poet, on some other forum. His words and deleting of his last thread here inspired me to make this...

TRIBUTE TO mcubic:

We don't go to Disney land anymore
we live in it everyday.
Just look around.
The trees are all fake,
the people costumed,
and the dialogue scripted.

Just look at all that plastic,
everywhere you look,
plastic doo dads and gee gaws and
now necessities.

A thousand of little mechanical urchins
screaming in falsetto,

its a plastic world after all.

But, at the end of the day
When the monitor goes blank
It's just cyberspace
just pixels.

peace
----------

Peace to you, mcubic. And here is a small gift for you:

There are times when you feel that you do not know where you fit in,
so you hide even what is real.
Even when it hurts to pretend to be the one that you think,
nobody wants you to be the one you really are.
Heaven no one sees.

You don't have to hide your heart 'cause nothing needs to change.
Even if sometimes it might seem so hard
and your whole world falls apart.

Everybody cries, it's okay to doubt yourself sometimes.
You don't have to be afraid of what you feel inside,
It's all right, and it's okay, because even heaven cries.

When you look in the mirror and you don't see picture perfect,
and what they say breaks your heart,
and makes you feel you're not worth it
when you want to disappear, just hide the tears,
Still play and make believe.
So no one sees.

The one you really are.

You don't have to hide your heart, you're a miracle in everyway,
Sometimes it might seem too hard,
when Heaven and your whole world falls apart.

Just know that when you hear the rain,
even Heaven cries.

:namaste: to anyone, especially to Z.
