So I walk in into a bank today to make change for a $20 bill.....
So I go to my JP Morgan Chase bank today and withdrawal a crisp $20 bill from the ATM. I then proceed inside to a teller and ask for a $10, $5 and (5) $1's for the $20 Bill.

The Teller say Sure, What's your account #? Briefly Stupefied, I hand her my debit card and say will this work?

She says, Yes Thank you, Swipes the card and then proceed to make change.

I said in a calm professional voice, So, if i didn't have an account number would you have made change? She said hesitantly, yes but we are supposed to track it.

WTF is That Supposed to mean. seriously $20!!!

This was the first time this has ever happen.

Anyone have any inside info on this?

seems America is doing what britian is doing .. controlling inflation by the amount of money in circulation you barely see 50 pound notes in britian infact a lot of stores wont take them because they are so rare .. this is done to add psycological value to the worthless shit paper they refer to as currency

In Canada they will document the bill, wrap it up on plastic for more 'investigation' later. This never used to happen before, but it's been awhile since I exchanged bills, and, they will ask you to sign a form.

Probably a bank policy incase the teller comes up over or short they have an account to adust.

$20 isnt much but someone will eventually want the same thing with 100s or 1000s. So policy.

But if you put 3,000 or so in our out of your account, then they will start watching, 10,000 and over for certain is reported.

Banking as a whole got too expensive for me. Me running too tight a budget and catching overdraft fees for really small transactions panned out like legal robbery.

That's a phishing call or a spoof. The person playing the role of the coop bank lady is the one making the calls trying to find someone to give her their bank information.
Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.
