However, if you are speaking in terms of how hard to get to, that is another story. “If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8 "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." - Hunter S. Quoting: Rev Woo-Woo However, if you are speaking in terms of how hard to get to, that is another story. Wait a minute...now that I consider it, I think I heard something similar about Easter Island. I remember reading that before the first European ships showed up, people oEaster Island thought their island was literally the only piece of land in a universe of infinite water. |

I mean, there's only so far you could realistically go. Me, I can run, on land, thousands of miles in three directions. There's a comforting and safe feeling that comes with that. Gives me the heebee-jeebees just thinking about it. |

Booger Cancer User ID: 35169710 United States 01/15/2015 02:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That's got "remote" written all over it. My father was the base commander at Camp Century for a time maybe about 1960 or so. They had 5 month tours it was so remote. Could have been 1962, I don't remember. Camp Century was way up there in the western part of Greenland above Canada about 90 miles from Thule Air Force Base. When they traveled, the equipment sometimes traveled about 1 mile an hour due to the extreme conditions. Maybe it was 10 miles an hour. In either case it was damn slow. The soldiers were allowed to consume as many calories as they wanted. They consumed about 5,000 calories a day. My father came back having gained about 25-30 pounds. Last Edited by Booger Cancer on 01/15/2015 02:36 AM Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved. |

(But still a claustrophobic little island, lol) |
