My first thought when I read that was.... Mayor must be gay.

I listened on the radio today of an excerpt of the mayor giving a press conference and he says "if you can't keep your mouth shut, your gone!" Pathetic pandering to the queer minority.

He should have used a pen name instead of his real name.

Heterosexual, God fearing men and women shouldn't have to hide from the depraved gay minority that are working to subvert American culture and morals.

Free speech comes with consequences. Just because you believe something and say it doesn't mean everyone has to like it and shut up and take it. I think this is pretty extreme reaction to the book but still, you have to be willing to take the consequences of what you say. Most people play that free speech card when they shouldn't. He published the book, free speech. Him getting fired, consequence. It would be good bye first amendment if he couldn't get the book out there for all to see because of what was in it.

Atlanta's Mayor is no prize, remember the city's response to the snow last year, when students had to stay in schools overnight.
