I learned this by doing a DNA test. You're SO right.
Then I read up on it some more, and I was blown away on my DNA testing. It doesn't work the way people think it does (at least the way I thought it did). There are no even-stevens, i.e. well I should be 25% this because my grandfather was full-blood, nope, I was only 6%, boy did I get a rude awakening...then another bloodline, I show zero genetics for it, I'm like WTH? How did THAT happen? I KNOW it's in there, but I didn't get those genes.

I keep asking my sister to do one, she's starting to soften up to the idea...I know she and I will NOT be the same percentages of specific tribes even though we have same parents.
