Can someone tell me why this would not be considered free energy?
I am interested to know why free energy cant exist when forces like gravity and atmospheric pressure both appear to be free forces that can create energy.

Let me know what you think of this vid

Use of atmospheric pressure (Free force) to cycle the water.. and gravity pulling the water down to turn the wheel(free force)... I dont see where the flaw is.

for those with the argument that there is a pump or some hidden gadget circulating the water, have you ever heard the word siphon? Have you ever siphoned gas?? No pump needed... Just atmospheric pressure is all.

Isn't using a free force like atmospheric pressure and gravity essentially creating a certain percentage of energy that is free?

This shouldn't violate the law of thermodynamics because it is using an already existing outside force to create momentum right?

It's not free energy because it requires the input of energy by the human manipulating the containers, etc, thus burning calories. Although a miniscule amount of caloric energy, it deems the process not "free energy." Physics 101

All it requires is adding water... Which it would seem that the amount of electric that could be generated from a large scale model would be greater then that

You do understand the law of Conservation of energy ?

And the difference between potential and kinetic ?

First of all, he seems to hold the small cube above the surface during the demo.

I would have to see this first hand.

I think you've been fooled.

Okay well theres something to be said for how large it must be. The weight of the water is pushing the wheel. So its using atmospheric pressure to move the water and gravity to turn the wheel

That is a fair observation that I wondered myself. But atmospheric pressure is real and so is gravity. So wouldnt that work anyways?

also what if the water was falling from a higher level the force generated when it hit the wheel would be even greater.

That may be but think about it. Atmospheric pressure is real and would work this way... and if the water is falling from a high enough level it could easily turn the wheel. You could make it so high that you are maxing out the force of gravity couldnt you?

Will Not work as it is presented.

There must be a Pump in the upper cube.

If there is no pump the outlet pipe Would Suck Air Its simple physics.

This.

His hand is concealing a tube. If this were real when he opened the small spigot some water would come out then air would rush into the spigot, the water level in the clear box would drop back into the large container

no. the energy doesn't replenish itself, therefore it isn't free energy.

that is like using the energy of a boulder that falls down a hill. it doesn't roll itself back up the hill to do it again. you simply used a form of energy naturally stored.

you can call it natural resources. and so are gas, oil, coal, and nuclear power is a "natural resource" too but it's very efficient. you are eating up material.

energy you get from the atmosphere, can be compared to energy you get from a river and hydroelectric dam, calling it "natural resources" and not "free energy". something will come up short somewhere else. natural forces replenish the supply, but there is a limit.

Exactly!!! Hydrological dams require the use of flowing water... How does water flow on earth? Gravity... So instead of using gravity to make the water flow you use atmospheric pressure and walla

The water in the container is being replenished it is not being held there.

Try it yourself, its easy to do with a glass in a sink.

Once you raise the water above the water line it drops back to the level of the water in the sink.

Water will always find its own level.

Which is why hes probably got that strange green line around the beaker.
