sure it could be.
If civilization does not collapse, then we are absolutely certain to develop our own virtual reality that is indistinguishable from current reality, WITHIN THIS CENTURY.

Once we reach that, then people will start to question if the current reality could also be a simulation/holodeck/elaborate hoax.

Until we do reach that point, there will always be naysayers who reject the idea because they just cant make their brains accept the possibility.

Definitely a possibility and a really original idea, but until we can prove that any idea has real validation it remains one of the infinite different possibilities!

All I really know for a fact is that if I see like a spider or something and I crush it out of....fear? they are scary little fuckers... but if I do that how big a sign of cowardice and disrespect for smaller/weaker things am I displaying to any thing that may be watching?
