Re: why do people fear peace
True peace is not simply the lack of conflict through tolerance and acceptance. When you compromise your principles and your values in order to live without conflict, you sacrifice your identity for comfort. In aworld like that, nothing is sacred and no one is free to be who they are. There will always be differences between people, some that can be tolerated, some that cannot. In the same way, there will always be evil in this world, we do not live in a Utopian society. Yet by labeling everything as relative to the individual through the practice of tolerance, that evil is accepted and is therefore unchallenged and allowed to flourish - leading to conflict. What is the greater evil - violence committed against the innocent, or the indifference and unwillingness to challenge that violence on the part of those able to stop it? Sic vis pacem, para bellum...
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Re: why do people fear peace
Peace is necessary for diplomacy and negotiations, to iron out messy clothes.

A constant state of peace would resemble the Equilibrium movie scenario... not much fun eh ?

People don't fear peace, they just cant imagine or interpret a perspective that they don't have yet.

One mans peace is another mans war...

Peace is also very difficult to maintain. There are always exchanges of energy going on which reshape our world all the time.

Life happens.

The important thing is to never panic. Our fears are only necessary to keep reality from falling apart. Without fear, we do not know our limits. Without limits, we destroy ourselves.

Just look at how the universe formed... it exploded !

"If you want "Peace" then always be prepared for WAR."

It's the hapless drivel of Morons that propose "happy thinking" or peaceful intentions will counteract the Psychopath, Sociopath, Malignant and Megalomaniac.

These incurable creatures have no conscience, no morals, no ethics, no empathy, no regard for "happy thinking" Morons whatsoever.

Perhaps if you "Think Happy Thoughts", Pet, Caress, and Talk Nicely, to a crocodile...

It wont eat your?

Perhaps 1 in 1000 might go along with your program?

Cultural programming. With that said I do believe a child brought up with both diaries and certain expectations can be a good thing. Its just that many parents dont see the fine line of when their "child" NEEDS to enter adulthood which grows only through intuition.

I don't think it is a matter of people fearing peace. I think people fear what they would have to do to achieve a level of peace of this planet, for everyone.

oh yes that trust factor... and then the taking responsibility for their own actions... doesn't seem hard but guess it is... and also the spreading wealth equally no big I and little you...
 Quoting: lucifer99

I agree with you both.

most normal people (i.e. not psychopathic leader types) want nothing more than peace.

But over the last 20yrs or so we've all been heavily indoctrinated that we MUST fear something or other.

And our psycho leaders keep intimidating normal people: you'll lose your job if... you'll lose your home if.... you'll lose your children if... even, you'll get fined if your wheelie bin has its lid even slightly ajar...etc etc. The nanny state rules. How can people learn how to take responsibility if Big Nanny rules all?

I'm a child of the 60s. In my lifetime, I've never seen such an explosion of enforced conformity, overt and implicit threats, loss of freedoms of all sorts, mainstream poverty, psychopathic constant warring, official lies and outright deceits....

Poverty has been mainstreamed...the adult children of middle class families have very little chance of advancement, they're struggling just to make enough to pay rent and keep their zero-hours contract jobs. Such grinding poverty just doesn't allow for much more than being responsible for one's daily basic needs.

Essentially, the middle classes and those aspiring to middle class have been dreadfully emasculated. There is no hope for any society without a thriving middle class. Read the history across all times and all cultures, there is NO future without the middle classes, their values, their decency, their work ethic...

Re: why do people fear peace
they understand the vast difference between the forthcoming temporal faux peace and the actual and everlasting eternal peace to follow...

no comparison in truth

one will prove to have been a short termed lie of the lowest order

whereas the other will manifest via action rather than lipspeak

some of us are prepared to hold out for the literal and authentic rather than bowing down to an empty mirage...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67332785

It is that very programmed fear that the first peace is false that will prevent any true peace from happening. Double speak to create fear of peace. Di-spell it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64614783

If you are programmed to fear peace, you will. Change the program. We already got sold peace by the homemaker. In year 7.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59726524

I am not the one who seems to fear true peace

however...

it's hardly considered to be living when one must continually forebear the atrocities of this current Age

the root of evil having been entered herein from the onset, as well you should know

the true King and Heir will soon be returning to utterly sweep clean the floor of His House, and harvest both good fruit and bad for the coming Age

time to collect upon both the wages of sin and the fruits of our goodly works, with reference to each and every soul who has passed herein...

payday, anyway you slice it, for one and they all
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67332785

The "true" King and heir of this planet is the Beast. The one who has owned it from the beginning of time and created a planet to toil, suffer and die. Because of some fairy tale; you believe that "someone is coming". Well, no one has. Man has been wishing for thousands of years to no avail.

Most of whom are bought and paid for and don't give a tinker damn about freedom and liberty. When intelligent people look at the current situation; there is no partisanship. Both political parties have failed us. All of the books concerning the rise of the diabolical CFR and Trilaterals has become reality.

 Quoting: harry 17763690

And you too are right, mate!

Seems to me that there are NO political parties now. Simple gangs of people who want to get on the gravy train of power and wealth. I've known a fair number of MPs and elected decisionmakers - their choice is stark: either drop their visionary principles and become a party clone or get out of the kitchen asap.

What strikes me as seriously weird is that few or none of the clones seem to recognise that
a) they are basically midwives to dictatorship and hegemony;
b) that dictatorship and hegemony ALWAYS fail sooner or later; and
c) inequalities such as they have allowed to grow exponentially are totally unsustainable.

It's almost unbelievable that the CFR, Trilaterals and Bilderbegers are so delusional as to not see the most likely outcomes of what they're doing.

Besides, there are many more of us than there are of them...what are they going to do? WMD their own people, which would wreck their own playpens?

I'm not at all an advocate of violence and law-breaking, so I would recommend that ALL of us just stop voting.

After all, the psychos have absolutely no mandate if only, say, 5-10% of diehard 'democracy' believers bother to vote.
