why do US waste trillion a year for bombs, tanks, and planes? At least Chinese build things like dams, cities, high speed rail systems etc

Two aspects : Firstly , their production does provide highly paid Jobs thus moving the economy. Some are bought by the US State, Many are exported to rich overseas governments ( Arabs) or given as freebie to "loyal partners " ( Israel) On the other hand ( the sordid one )they may have use...To destroy the chinese cities so they can built new ones and keep western economies running LOL

The Chinese elites knew already back in the 60s how the world economy would shape up.

I watched a documentary where a Chinese ex-businesses man explained that China knew about the coming economic doom that the world would face. How did they know? Because they are the source of it. They are the ones that will crash the economy to later become the only world superpower.

This is why for example China are building massive ghost cities that reach as far as the eye can see, when the economy collapses, China won't be affected as hard as USA because people don't live in those massive ghost cities. This is a cheap economic trick that China pulled just to boost their economy like crazy before the crash.

But as I was saying, China will be the cause of the coming economic doom. When they know that the time is right, they will:
1. Release a statement that their current gold stocks are 500%+ more than previously stated.
2. The US dollar would crash within a day or two.
3. When US falls the world will follow (including China).
4. Gold will SPIKE, shoot through the roof.
5. The Chinese gold backed currency will be the new global currency.

This shows lack of fore-thought in your post. Investors expect a return... spending money on something empty would not be such except there are people who are building now for later use when housing along coasts and on fault lines is destroyed.. It is not about at all... just where to hide money.

did you know all the underground areas that have been built the last 1 hundred years are for the same purpose....And both china and russia have built enough underground housing also in safe areas to house their populations? The location of these Chinese ghost cities is so their citizens (well, probably important citizens) can be re-located for when the poles shift. These cities have been built so they avoid the sinkhole belt.

Do you remember the massive 2 quakes in china in may some several years ago now? The first quake was a real quake.. the 2nd one was the nuclear power plant that blew up in one of the underground areas they were building.. They tried to get the plant shut down before the big quake.. as they saw it coming.. or potentially so.. but they were not successful. A huge "volcano" of concrete dust was formed from that.
