Well, it's "demonic possession", and I encountered it on Saturday night. A guy I met, and hung out with for a couple of hours (he seemed to be losing it- he wasn't even that drunk) , decided to punch me in the lower side gut a couple of times. And yeah, never fight back. Just forgive. Violence is petty.

Regardless of you "liking violence" or not, it occurred. Defending yourself might have reduced the overall violence (in this case committed against yourself). People who do not defend themselves are either missing the natural instinct of all animals of self-preservation are are psychologically damaged to think they are "enlightened" by allowing themselves to be a doormat.
