Cheyenne Wyoming 65 deg today, and warmer tomorrow. I went to town today in the convertable with the top down! We had our bad weather earlier. I didn't get much sympathy when it was 20 below here.

Deano's got balmy weather and a quarter moon. You two have a nice winter storm with thundersnow. I'd take that .. for a night!

Speaking of moons and thundersnow, check this out. Don't know what might transpire of it, but this winter storm this called Juno. The Juno spacecraft is a NASA New Frontiers mission to the planet Jupiter. On Thursday we have a brief but potentially powerful 3 way planetary (electrical) alignment that includes Mercury, Earth and Jupiter with our moon 90 degrees off the alignment, which means that the Earth is not partially shielded by the moon from solar wind. The sun has been weak of late so that's the variable...something to ponder while you're cursing the snow gods for tomorrows mess they made in your neighborhood.

Yes, this is a big assed storm that has not really started significantly effecting the NE yet. Other elements coming into play now.

I would've sympathised with ya, I couldn't handle 20 below! :(

It won't be a 'nice winter storm' if we lose power, or for those who need emergency medical assistance and can't get it do to not being able to be accessed. :(

Thank you though, Akashic and I are staying put, we're not going anywhere anytime soon. And hoping we never lose power. Hoping the winds don't get as crazy as they say they could get.
