Well here in the UK, before this ''Law'' is passed, the Police would go on the Merits of Evidence from both the Man and Woman. If there is evidence that a Man did rape he gets convicted, if there is no evidence, then the case is thrown out. Doesn't matter who gets to the Police station in time to report it.

With this Law coming into effect, it's possible for an Innocent man to get locked up because he hasn't got ''Proof'' of consent from a woman and in the end her word is jury. If things keep going this way, won't belong before her word is Judge and Jury.....

Think about it! Two young people in a Dark Night club with a good few drinks in them decide to have sex in the Club, in a Car, or go home to one's house, she cliams Rape the next morning....how does a guy Prove he didn't in the event of him being innocent, with no proof of consent??
