The average Christian will have it worse than the average Atheist, but ultimately if one does not harm another they are good. God is Good, Godness is Goodness, Life is good, the corruption and destruction of life is therefore not good. All Good could want and expect and desire of an Atheist, is for them to enjoy their life and not kill anyone. It would be pretty lame of me to give you a gift of a bicycle on your birthday, but only on the conditions that you never ride it over 2 mph, that you always wear a helmet and full pads, and that you think of me constantly each second while you are riding. In fact, there is a chance that it was not even really me who gave you the bike at all, but you just think I did, and those are just the conditions you think I gave.

lots of people work for aid agencies in famine and disease ridden countries at risk of their own lives and quite often die in the process...laying their lives down for others simply cause they care. A lot of them are agnostic or athiest. God going to burn them alive?

A lot of christians do this as well..but not cause they actually care..its because they fear being burnt alive forever if they dont plus they think they will get a reward for doing it..plus they also do it to save souls from being burnt alive. So everything they do for others has no other motive but fear and greed and self as the driving force behind anything they do for others. Caring does not come into the equation. ..for if they didnt have the other motives..they would not be there at all as there would be nothing in it for them.

thus christians and all the good they do is a total farce.

like the ones the bible says..disnt we do this and that in your name?...jesus will say...who the heck are you?

Ive seen two actual miracles in my life and neither one took place in a church or because of the prayer of someone else.

shattered ankle healed instantly and cash turning up out of nowhere...just enough to pay the rent.

That happened to you personally? Did you attribute the healing to God? That is an incredible miracle...how did you explain it to yourself?

I didnt need to explain it. It explained itself. Im a logical man...and got two very logical miracles. But im not actually shocked by it because I understans physics and quantum sea mechanics. I totally understand how god did it. Its not actually a miracle once you understand how its done. What I did appreciate was the why of it..not the how.

seemed to me at the time that a down to earth decent bloke of a god could help out a loser like me..hes a good bloke in my book...not the total asshole churches paint him up to be.

so anyone who picks on someone I respect and who helped me out when I really needed it..coos it from me. But thats how us aussies are..we stick up for out mates.
