Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
For the past month I have been suffering from sleep paralysis, I have woken up to a vibrating sensation and have seen dark figures around my bed. I have also had a perception of seeing my own body from across the room. I went to the doctor and was sent for blood and ekg, all came back ok and I am on waiting list for a sleep clinic. My doctor gave me ativan and a small dose of seroquel to help me "relax" but the medications have done nothing for the paralysis. I feel like I am going crazy. Has anyone else suffered with this?
 Quoting: anotherbreath

Be sure to get to the sleep clinic soon, to be checked thoroughly for sleep apnea.

Have your significant other report whether you stop/start breathing at night -- it sounds like a sudden snort -- or snore. If so, position yourself with a body pillow or two to minimize snoring. For me: (1) sleeping on the side, hugging a body pillow, minimized snoring; and (2) sleeping on the back led to snoring and oxygen deprivation. A sleep apnea (CPAP) machine can be a life-saver.

Don't always believe what you're told! Ive bought two machines for sleep apnea. Not cheap neither were the doc bills! go for walks it helps

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
yes, you are not going crazy.
sleep with your head facing the east, definatly not the north.

beaware of your emotions they feed off of emotional energy especially fear and anger.
Use PURE essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood, frankincense and cedar. get white sage and/ or a good quality non toxic incense and SAFELY burn it while you sleep. Warning do not leave white sage smudge stick smouldering unattended.

listen to Relaxing meditative music while you sleep, on a speaker that doesn't need plugging in and that is not blue toothed.

Get rid of all electronics form where you sleep Radios, Mobile Phones computers, etc. EMFs seem to be a gate way for them to come threw.

give up tv, Start Meditation, Breath work, Watch what you eat, watch what you think (your thoughts are not always yours) and watch what you say spend more time outdoors with nature and the goddess. (the sun and oxygen are not evil)
Get an amethyst Geode, Salt water bathes, Get away from negative people and if not Possible just pretend they are not there, focus on something or someone that you love the most (could be a memory) hold it in your heart then send it to these beings, Look up the Archons on youtube, connect with the heart of the Earth and the Heart of the Galaxy. Be Careful how you spend your energy.

This!!!! And I think Im in aww:-)

Thats all I can think of for now, just remember that they are envious of us, they fear us waking up and they need us... we do not need them. Sovereignty be with you. lflash the day we do not have to put a disclaimer on every thing will be the day the world will know Peace.

This is not medical advise. I am not a doctor I do not study western medicine. if you believe that you suffer from a medical condition then seek out proper medical advise.

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
I had a weird incident a few weeks ago. I was listening to one of those sleep relaxation videos and it started off with the normal relaxing music, but then I started having a nightmare that aliens were getting in my face. I started putting my hand up to push them away and that is when I woke up. I had my hand out and the music has changed to some weird buzzing sounds. I don't know if the music triggered some memory or just caused a nightmare. And my cats weren't in the room with me at the time.

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
I've had it probably 10 or 20 times in my life. Only 1 was with an alien. It seemed very real. It was terrifying. When I finally broke our of paralysis I jumped out of bed chasing it into my closet screaming at the top of my lungs and ripped all the clothes off my hangars as it disappeared into the wall. I was so violent with my arms that I ripped the shelves off and they all fell down on me. lol
Was it real? I dunno. But I've never ever had a physical reaction like that before or since. It was March 2007.

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
OP. Your just having what are called vibrations. You are basically having an out of body experience. Don't be afraid, it's normal. READ "ADVENTURES BEYOND THE BODY" by William Buhlman. It will all make sense I promise. You won't be scared any more. The buzzing you hear is not anything to be afraid of. You can find a pdf file of the book online and the first chapter goes into the vibrations/sleep paralysis. I know what it feels like, you hear strange noises, voices, and feel like electricity flowing through you. It's all normal.. Read the book. It all will be explained.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64468590

I'm reading it, cool stuff. I'm off to bed now, I'll try some of that visualizing a room and see what happens.
Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”

The name of Jesus stuff does not break this.its not demons or spiritual in nature. If you want to wake up or snap out of it move a body part, will yourself to wiggle a toe. The ringing in your ears as you fall asleep is a sure sign it is coming. Once you learn to will away the "dark presence" the ringing and vibrations are a jumping off point for what one could call astral projection, enjoy exploring the shadow world, remember to move by will not muscle or you will snap back to your body and have to try again.also remember it's not a lucid dream, you are still bound by rules and can't simply imagine things into being like in a dream

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
As you sit there unable to move a horrifically burnt skinned man squeeks his way to your doorway. He looks at you as he's breathing heavy. He tips his fedora hat and then opens up his glove to reveal 4 well sharpened blades. He laughs gently as he's slowly approaching. He puts his razor fingers on the metallic base of your bed and screeches his blades across the pole as he's smiling and loudly whispers "I'm gonna get you". Then as you are just about to start moving he screams " don't you do it" and jumps on top of you as you move a limb and he dissapears. You're awake at last. You nod your head as you are dumbfounded as to what happened when suddenly you look up and there's 4 razors dangling over your head like a spider descending from a ceiling. Before you have a chance to move the gloves swarm your face as you s ream in mercelous pain as you can hear a remorseless steady laugh in the background. Then you wake up. Realize it was just a nightmare. You open your door to leave the house to find a lake of fire outside your door. Then the familiar laugh starts as you see red eyes slowly walk downstairs and then he expands his blades from his glove and says "what's the matter? Afraid of a lil fire". You crouch down into fetal position as he walks up and at the very last second you jump into the lake of fire but as you fall out of the house you then wake up to yourself falling out of the 15th story of your apartment complex.

There's bogus research that says it's a natural problem with our brain. That's bullshit. I've suffered from this for years. I know I'm awake. I know what Im seeing and hearing. No one can take that away from me. I know there's a connection to a alien abduction. It's triggered by the actual abduction. Somehow certain individuals wakeup while they are being abducted or when being returned. They are terrified so much it triggers the sleep paralysis. I also experience lots of lucid dreaming lots of it. I love it. They want us to believe it's a natural problem. If you experience sleep paralysis you know what I'm talking about.

The ativan alone often causes unpleasant psychotic effects like nightmares, etc

How is you're diet? What kind of food are you eating and what kind of liquids?
 Quoting: davidnv

Ativan rarely cause nightmares. In elderly patients it can cause some problems. It's a pretty well tolerated benzo.

Seroquel will. I've never used it and do not recommend the OP take it. it's a nasty drug and not necessary

I agree with you! We are multidimensional and being conscious in nonphysical felt amazing. I've been trying to experience it again ever since but sleep too deeply. Any suggestions on how to get into sleep paralysis while conscious for deep sleepers? Does using a timer help? The one lucid dream I had I didn't feel sleep paralysis or hear vibrations. I started hearing music really loud and then saw I had no body. It was strange but amazing and I'd really like to experience again.

Re: Sleep Paralysis Terrified
If you figure it out, let me know. I'm Christian, so to speak, but non practicing.

I've tried the "in Jesus' name" and it didn't do a thing so don't be discouraged if it doesn't work for you

I can remember the first time it happened. The time, day, ect. That's how scary it was.

I've suffered from it for decades starting about the age of 20. Sometime 3x a night, sometimes only once week or less.

It's lessened to such a degree as i've gotten older to where I don't even think about it but it still occasionally happens.

I don't really experience the figure it the room people see. I just am "stuck" but I can open my eyes very slightly. If I fight to move it's like I'm a lead weight, but if i stop struggling it's as if I've woken up and i actually fool myself thinking I'm up and about. Very odd feeling, What some people call an out of body experience but I consider a trick of the mind. Once I start struggling again I'm back "stuck".

I have no real advice except sleeping on my side or my stomach is the only way i'll sleep. I also never put the covers over my head at night or close to my face.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66544502

I wanted to add that sleeping too much in a 24 hour period seems to make it more likely I'll experience SP. Not too much at one time but like 8-10 hours and then another 4 hours later that day.

Once in a great while, for whatever reason, I get unusually tired to the point I can't keep my eyes open and over sleep like this. More often than not SP occurs

No one has ever died from SP and as the you get used to them as much as anyone can they become less frightening.

Also take my advice of keeping covers below your neckline, you'll thank me for that advice.Having you face semi covered blocking your breathing makes it terrifying for me
