3,670 parsecs is NOT 11.96 lt.yrs - It is 11,970 lt.yrs
Or.... 11.96 lt.yrs is only 3.67 parsecs

I realise astronomical distances can be difficult to those who are numerically challenged...
Or... if you are gonna c&p your info, at least check that the info is right.
Anyone with even the most basic knowledge of asronomy shouls have spotted that blunder immediately. One of the first things you learn is that a parsec is about 3¼ light years (or more accurately, 3.26163)
