If it's all square and legit and everything, surely there's no harm in looking at its history, right? If something is said to be irrefutable and rock-solid and so forth, it should withstand a little harmless scrutiny from specks like us, yes? Do you maybe suppose Jeremiah 8:8 is a valid truth?
