Drove 1600 miles straight with bad knee due to skating accident; got automatic so I could walk. Yep, I felt bad about it. Stick shift so much more able to control car esp. in mountain driving....

sorry, my bad, should have put that in bold. bad O2's used to cause bad cats in early OBD systems, but not after OBDII came out. the ECU goes into default mode to protect the air fuel mix when the O2's go bad.

Everyone complains about using manuals in traffic most traffic is caused by lazy ducks in automatics too much time to do things in their cars like phones, tv shows, eat, Facebook etc.

Yea well,I am not sure about my system.It is outdated that is for damm sure.

Nah most people that actually learned to drive would opt for a manual because it gives better and faster controll
over the driving enviroment.

I dare any auto driver to race me through a 3 or more point turn on a narrow road.

you cant roll start a auto you can hardly tow the damn things

basically they are good for the missus or your daughter
but anybody needing or wanting performance and reliability would do much better with a manual but most american men
like their choice in beer have been reeducated to accept the sissified option.

Just stop talking. Lol. You are clearly an armchair mechanic.. though I am suprised you know the stoch. Ratio.. you car relies on the 02 sensors to monitor and correct fuel ratios. When your 02 is out, your car can no longer meter.

The car can only revert to what it thinks is the stoch. Ratio. There are many other variables involved, (altitude, temperature, loss of compression, old vs new plugs and so on.

For a while, only Americans could build reliable automatic transmissions.

BMW, Jaguar Rolls Royce and many other marque use American automatic transmission technology.

Americans used to be the best at everything.

EuroTards suck at a lot of stuff, including making automatic transmissions.

So when you look down on Americans for having automatic transmissions. realize that your country can't even build 'em.

Haha such bs, manual is way more reliable plus you don't wear the brakes as much with a manual.

You're not a real driver until you can answer a phone drink a coffee and smoke a cigarette while driving a manual.

What are you on I've never replaces a clutch and it's not 1000 to do it. If an auto transmission goes you might as well scrap the car plus manual puts you in control of the car.
