F-BVFA User ID: 48442288 France 02/01/2015 06:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A RUSSIAN bomber intercepted over the Channel last week was carrying a nuclear missile designed to destroy Trident submarines, it emerged last night. Quoting: Tess. Sources within the Ministry of Defence last night revealed that one of the two long-range bombers was carrying at least one air-dropped “seek and find"d nuclear warhead-carrtying missile, designed to seek and destroy a Vanguard submarine. Both Prime Minister David Cameron and Defence Secretary Michael Fallon were alerted after cockpit conservations confirming the bomber’s nuclear payload were intercepted by a Norwegian military listening post, and shared with the Ministry of Defence. [link to www.express.co.uk] Wow. This ups the game a bit! Maybe that numbers man who said WW3 starts on 17th February isn't wrong. Is the Daily Express a trustworthy source? Are there other articles on this in the Independent, Telegraph... +++ ?? Only in the Express so far, though I expect it'll be picked up by the others. The Express is a mainstream paper that's been around for about a century. Thank you all for your answers. Now I remember seeing all the people on the London Tube reading the Daily Express and also the Daily Mail. They are popular. I came. I saw. I Concorde. For once you have tasted Concorde you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56298223 Does Britain have 90 billion? They say they don't have much money, but when they want to bomb things, money magically appears. And it won't arrive until around 2030, so quite pointless really, as we are years away from doing anything about it.. I do however think they'd move on the practical now side, and perhaps (jointly with the French) build nuclear warheads for Stormshadow etc.. as it would flow into the existing Anglo-French project to update Stormshadow and create a new autonomous drone.. Which in terms of project status is far more advanced than the Trident replacement. |

But I am still not convinced who will be on what side, these things don't take shape until much closer to the event.. but you are right, when it does happen people will be shocked and unprepared.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66605914 Unfortunately, war is a necessary evil when certain leaders around the world find it necessary to engage in activities detrimental to the welfare of their own - as well as other - people(S). I'm sure you can't possibly believe the USA is involved in a war against humanity when nothing could be further from the truth. |
