Nemtsov was one of the last ones who could have easily saved Russia from destruction. He was a brilliant mind who knew exactly what it took to save Russia. With his assassination it now grows all the more difficult.

You Putin shills are fighting for your own destruction. Putin does not love you nor does he inherently love Russia. He only loves what can keep his mafia in power(and wealth!) and so much so that he is willing to risk destroying Russia to try and desperately maintain his now threatened mafia.

Reform, betterment, anti-corruption, democratic prosperity in countries on Russia's border like Georgia and Ukraine and the Baltics threaten if they succeed to then cause the Russian people to then want the same in Russia.

THIS is what Putin is fighting against in Ukraine and elsewhere and he is in effect fighting against the Russian people and Russia itself. Russia has the potential to be the top 2 or 3 wealthiest nation on Earth if it could shed itself of the mafia kleptocracy that ruins it. Instead it is down in the teens with an economy about as powerful as Italy's or California's instead because you cannot have a most prosperous country while being ruled by a mafia kleptocracy which has the primary concern of the wallets of it's few members far more so than the health of the whole nation.

The EU forces reform and especially anti-corruption laws upon its member governments as a priority. This is a lethal threat to kleptocracy. This is first and foremost why Ukrainians saw hope in the EU and why Euromaidan happened.

In order for Russia to survive and prosper it will have to somehow manage to get rid of Putin and the entire mafia system from power that he is a part of. This will be difficult. If it does not happen, Russia will likely be destroyed from how we know it, and most likely in very catastrophic war as the mafias desperation turns to war against the outside world.
