Someone interpret this dream...
I had last night:

I went to a Church and stole communion supplies. A cup, and some other things.

I woke up. Then later had another dream:

I was in a home, and someone was breaking in. I grabbed gun and loaded it. I then confronted the thieves. I was a family, (a man and his kids). The kid were very young, 5-8 or so and no more than two or three. They were stealing the communion stuff. I let them go and the dream ended.

It was a simple as that. It was so strange, and I can't figure out if it means anything. My religious back ground is non-denominational Christian.

Anyone?

I think you're in the mood to achieve and win something, but at the same time afraid of regret as can cost and consequences. Also maybe you are repenting and giving up.

Stole a cross? With naked Jesus?
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Communion drink and bread represents the blood and body that Christ Jesus offered up for us.

Have you stole from God lately?

The last dream.you had, you showed mercy to those kids. You stole the communion in the first drink, so is God going to have mercy on you.

I'm not sure, but just think it over.

You would take from something that really has no benefit, no harm if stolen really

And if someone stole from you, such as a family in need, then you would be okay with that. Which means you'd be okay with your self doing that for your family

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty,
If your cup is full may it be again,
Let it be known there is a fountain,
That was not made by the hands of men.

There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone.

At the last supper Jesus showed us the true Eucharist.

Its not Crackers or Grape Juice, its not his Blood or his Flesh.

The Eucharist is In his Flesh and in His Blood because he is the Living One.

And when you partake in the Bread and the Water of Life it will be in you too.

if you steal...you better be prepared to kill.

you're a thief, but not prepared to become a murderer...especially when the lawful owner comes for what belongs to him and his posterity.

Perhaps you are doing something that conflicts with your morals. Maybe you feel your faith is not what it should be. Maybe you feel violated by your church. Perhaps you heard something about stealing from God and or church and the memory of it manifested in the dream. It is not abnormal for people to feel guilty about things they have not done after something is stolen, perhaps fearing accusations and sometimes this is reflected in dreams.

Your dream is a representation of a theft that happened a very very long Time ago and those whom you saw in your dream came in to rightfully take back what had been stolen...

You saw children in your dream and they represent the Pure in Heart Innocence of the Kingdom that only one who is childlike can enter into...

The adults in your dream are the representation of the elders of the council that are before the THRONE of all thrones...

I would say you are feeling guilty over something you believe you did wrong. You empathized with the robber (who is another representation of you) or his kids. Showing you want to forgive yourself for whatever your feeling guilt over. You either believe it was necessary for your family or you want to forgive yourself for your families benefit.

I haven't done anything wrong.

But I did get robbed last week. I was not home. They sledgehammered in the back door. Alarm did its work, but not before they snatched a laptop and ran.

I sure am glad I had that alarm. It could have been MUCH worse. the monitoring company had the police called in less than two minutes...

I have filled out a form to get the police report and the body-cam video from the responding officer.

I can't figure out how they grabbed a laptop from my den without setting off the den motion detector... and I don't want to assume anything. Den motion went off 25 minutes after the back door alarm, and that was the cops walking in.

Look. I derailed my own thread.

Well dreaming about a robbery after being robbed make perfect sense. Your just mind is just trying to process all your feelings about what happened. It won't always make sense in the dream. I would say given the situation. The religious aspects are not really religious but most like lt to do with the feelings of being violated at your home. I wouldn't worry about the dream at all or what it's trying to tell you. I think your wake state will tell you more than your dream will.

OP, do you have children?

If so... are they older now, than the children in your dream?

If so... dreams about our older children being younger in a dream, represents a stage of 'change' in the lives of those children. A parent could have this kind of dream, for example, when their child is about to graduate h.s. or college, about to get married, about any big change to come in their life.

If any of this is true for your life... then the second dream may have simply been about the changes in life that your children are facing as they get older. And how as their parent, you may be tempted to step in and try to direct these changes, and their choices, in their life.

But..... as they change, so do you, as a parent. You'll need to step aside and allow their choices, right or wrong, as well as letting them face the consequences of their choices, good or bad. It's all part of them growing up, and you letting go.

Reason I say all this, is because in your dream, you confronted the thieves with a gun, then mention the children, then stepped back and allowed them to go. When you let them go, that's when the dream ends.

So... if any of this feels true for your life... the dream could simply be validation that you are doing right by your kids, in letting them go.

If you do not have children, lol.... then we'll take a different look at the dream. chuckle

Communion drink and bread represents the blood and body that Christ Jesus offered up for us.

Have you stole from God lately?

The last dream.you had, you showed mercy to those kids. You stole the communion in the first drink, so is God going to have mercy on you.

I'm not sure, but just think it over.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46478325

seems clear to my way of thinking

the first dream showed you removing items from the house of the Lord that did not belong to you

the second showed that you followed suit with that same line of thinking, or allowance, which you'd given yourself in that regard

with regard to whomsoever thereafter was attempting to follow suit with such in turn

however nobody else could understand it in the light in which it was given you any better than you can/could yourself
