Rev 15:4 ...For thou only art holy -

There are passages in the bible that infer men are holy under some circumstances.

But the Holiness of God is far above that of man.

No evil can touch God -

Whereas, evil surrounds men everyday of their lives.

This is why Paul says:

No man is righteous - not one.

That's why we pray for strength and the ability to ward off satan's temptations.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73448754

Rev 15:4....for all nations shall come to worship before thee....

When it speaks of all nations - it literally means all nations; including the nations of islam

Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74665998

Rev 15:4 ....For thy judgements are made manifest

From biblehub:

...for thy judgments are made manifest; or "thy justifications", or "righteousnesses"; the perfect righteousness of Christ, and the doctrine of justification by it, will now be most clearly revealed, and generally received, in opposition to the Popish doctrine of merits, works of supererogation, &c. or the judgments of the King of saints upon antichrist, who will now avenge their blood, which he has shed; see Rev 17:1 and the justice and righteousness of his proceedings against the man of sin will be notorious and manifest to all, and be acknowledged, as in Rev 16:5.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59177427

Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74710277

I would like to elaborate some on the tabernacle by answering these question:

The history of the tabernacle; it's origins; what purpose did it server? why is it important?

A definition of the tabernacle....

I would say - yes, people have been mislead for 2000 years.

Up til now - it couldn't have happened because the technology didn't exist.

You couldn't see something happening on the other side of the world - this passage below made no sense to anyone living in Jesus time.

Only we today can understand the technology it takes for this to happen:

Rev 13:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall SEE their dead bodies three and an half days lie in the street. (KJV)

This says other people from other nations will SEE their dead bodies in the street.

The tech didn't exist for people to be in a FIELD or someone on a ROOF and both 'simultaneously' seeing something they should act on i.e. the antichrist STANDING in the temple.

Math 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Well, the technology now exists for the rest of prophecies to come true....

Yes

But the healing is by God

The laws are God's laws....Not man's laws

Unfortunately, man's laws are taking precedence today

Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened...

We have the definition.

Here's a brief description:

It is sometimes used to refer to one part of a larger complex: the tent-like structure that stood within a court enclosed by linen curtains. At other times the term describes the entire complex. The inner structure was comprised of gold-plated planks linked together and standing on edge. They formed three sides of a rectangle, with the fourth closed by a heavy curtain. The whole was draped with several layers of cloth and leather. Here God was understood to be especially present for his people...

The Tabernacle has a long history:

Small excerpt from biblestudytools:

The first references to the tabernacle appear in Exodus 25, where Moses begins to receive the instructions for making this structure. These instructions continue through chapter 31. Then, after a three-chapter interlude dealing with the golden calf episode and its aftermath, chapter 35 resumes the story of the tabernacle, reporting how the complex was built. This report repeats the previous instructions almost word for word. The report carries on through chapter 40, where the book reaches its climactic conclusion with God's glory filling the tabernacle....

What purpose did the tabernacle serve?

From Theologyofwork - small excerpt:

More than anything else, the Tabernacle was God’s dwelling place among his people. Of course, God did not literally live there as people live in their houses. God cannot be contained in any building, however grand. But the Tabernacle signified the presence of God in Israel. It said in physical form, “I am with you.” Thus the Tabernacle, and later the Temple, were crucial to the Israelites because they signified God’s presence....

PRAYER from Theologyofwork:

Gracious God, how good you are to give us tangible signs of your presence. For the children of Israel, you made your presence known in the Tabernacle and then in the Temple. Thus you reassured your people and reminded them of your unique covenant relationship with them.

How much more wonderful it is that you “pitched your tent” among us in Jesus. Not only do we have the confidence that comes from knowing that you are with us, but also we are able to know you so much better.

Finally, we thank you, gracious God, for being with us each moment through your Spirit. How blessed we are to experience your guidance, power, and comfort.

Next part of verse 18 - count the number of the beast

If one has understanding they are told to start counting.

If we want to count the number of the beast - we have to know what the beast is.

Is this beast the new world order (verse 1), or the antichrist?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 39562034

Continuing with this verse:

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Depending whether this verse is referring to the beast or antichrist - How you count the number would be different.

The beast - if it is the new world order it could be a number referring to the EU or ottoman empire i.e. say the ottoman empire lasted 666 years. That could very well be the number of the beast. But it didn't. It was in existence for 624 years.

From wikipedia - the ethopian empire was 666 years.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70606165

I really don't think the ethopian empire qualifies as the beast.

If we look at the 'age' of the EU From the inception of it's history - it is almost 66 years old. It wouldn't qualify as the beast, but one of it's heads(out of 7).

According to wikipedia it's history starts in 1951 when the Treaty of Paris was signed, creating the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC)....

From there it expanded to other treaties until it renamed itself the EU.

Rev 13:18 starts with 'here is wisdom'. Presumably one gains wisdom with age.

Perhaps the 666 can be broken up with a decimal point where we say 66.6 is the age of the 7th head that receives the mortal wound i.e. in about a year or so the EU will collapse.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74130147

Rev 13:1 [I saw] a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads....

3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast......and they worshipped the beast.

It's the 7th head that is wounded aka the EU....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69954153

I'm not the smartest or the most up to date on prophecy, but I'm really enjoying youall's conversation. Can I add a thought: when I think of the "sea" I think of the multitude (not the elect, the lost so to speak). The beast has 7 heads (7 countries/nations)?? Which 7? Those worshipping "the beast AND HIS prophet"??

I agree - the sea is the multitude of nations; many of which are considered "not saved".

The 7 heads on the beast are 7 empires that's explained somewhat in Rev 17:

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

The 7 empires are:

Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and a revival of Roman empire = EU?

Here is part of the discussion at the link below-starts with this post:

Rev 13:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Now in John's time when he wrote this - the king was Roman at that time "five are fallen, and ONE IS",

meaning that the "ONE IS" is the Roman empire. I won't go into the five have fallen yet.

Next, it states - the other has not come yet. That is, the one after the Roman empire.

Therefore the roman empire is the sixth and there will be a seventh - with 10 kings.

Maybe the EU - or some other empire, but it does not come during the time of the Roman empire; and must be one kingdom with 10 kings

I wanted to answer the first question and second question separately because each is extraordinarily significant in end times.

Rev 17 - as I mentioned is where most of the answer to your question is.

Rev 13 is where you find the answer to your second question.

Mainly these verses:

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a [devil].

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast

Re: Prophecies Jesus gave in Mathew 24 and Revevelation require internet and smartphone
Here is an outline of book of Revelation, excluding first 5 chapters (Jesus message to the churches).

Revelation timeline and supporting verses from Matthew 24:

7 seal judgements (Rev 6): - Matthew 24, what Jesus calls time of sorrows:

First four seal judgements: 4 horses of apocalypse start journey -

1) NWO-globalization - by deception; Math 24, see that no man deceives you.
2) war(terrorism?) - Math 24, nation will rise against nation.
3) price of food soars, - Math 24, there will be famine in diverse places.
4) 1/4 part men dies (hunger, pestilence, catastrophes, etc) - Math 24, disease; earthquakes.

5) Christians are killed for believing in Jesus - Math 24, many will be killed for my namesake

6) Great earthquake, sun blackens, moon red, many signs in sky takes place; men hide, for the great day of his wrath is come - Matthew 24, what Jesus calls the Great Tribulation starts with this seal.

7) Opens up the seven trumpet judgements.

The 144,000 witnesses are sealed (protected) - and all hell is literally unleashed on earth.

7 Trumpet judgements:

1) 1/3 of all trees destroyed, all grass burned up.

2) Sun, moon stars all effect what is going to happen on earth(differently).

3) 1/3 of sea life, and ships - die and destroyed.

4) The fresh water supply becomes poisonous.

5) Men that received mark are tortured 5 months

6) Another 1/3 part men dies (war? ELE????) in a little over a year.

7) Opens up the seven vial judgements.

Characters of Revelation: first beast(AC/antichrist), second beast(false prophet), woman on the beast (mystery babylon).

The AC ultimately destroys the woman on the beast, mystery babylon (global world order-elite).

The AC's sidekick (false prophet) tells all they must worship AC's image, and take a mark to buy or sell.
If anyone does this they are "lost forever".

Meanwhile the earth is going through such turmoil everyone is asking what is going on - sound familiar?

We will hear the gospel from the 144,000 who will be given a song no man can learn, and temple rebuilt.

2 witnesses will appear - and preach the gospel. After 3 1/2 years will be killed by beast.

They will lay in street 3 days and in front of the whole world God will ascend them into heaven.

The easiest part of all this time to recognize is the last 3 1/2 years:

The AC's army will surround Jerusalem. The AC will go in and defile the temple sanctuary. and declare himself to be God. He will then rule the world. He and his sidekick will be able to perform miracles.

7 Vial judgements: At the end of time - only people with mark of beast should be around to receive the double portion of God's wrath - you definitely don't want to be around for this.

Then Jesus meets beast in what is know as armageddon. Throws the beast in lake of fire, puts satan in pit for 1000 years. After 1000 years satan is released. Tries to get nations to go against Jerusalem. After satan looses that battle, he's thrown into lake of fire.

God creates new heaven and earth. Jerusalem is center, and God will live with us.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74759347

Tabernacle is also referred to as sanctuary/holy place
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74766727

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74816797

Example where sanctuary is used for tabernacle:

Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74823748

Continued from biblestudytools:

The most significant symbolism {of Tabernacle} is surely that found in the arrangement of spaces and objects. The court itself speaks of the separation between God and the sinner. It is impossible for us to come into the presence of God in our normal state. This gulf is further reinforced by the veil at the door of the Holy Place, and by the one that closed off the Holy of Holies. It is impossible that good intentions and honest effort can ever bring us to God. We come in the ways he has dictated, or not at all.
