Personally, I subscribe to something a female coworker told me years ago when referencing her own boyfriend who happened to have a beard: "Behind every beard is an ugly man."

Mind you, I have no problem with facial hair. I always maintain a clean shave myself, but I don't mind even a long Grizzly Adams beard on certain people. What I do mind are hipsters and trendies and people who do things because the rest of the cool crowd are doing it. My particular beef with the hipster beard is that it looks so decidedly UN-cool. These idiots are so useless, so devoid of any true personal creativity of their own, that if those little beanies with the helicopter blades came into fashion they'd wear them without question and not even know how utterly fucktarded they look.

But alas, there's no justice in the world when it comes to these morons and their hipster beards. With the epidemic of useless sluts in the world getting tattoos just because every other useless slut in the world maimed herself with a tramp stamp, at least that's a (for the most part, barring expensive removal treatments) permanent monument that they have to carry with them for the rest of their lives, demonstrating to the world what utter fucking pig sluts they were when they were young.

But the hipster beard? When it eventually and thankfully goes out of fashion they can simply cut and shave it off. Like I said, no justice. The world will never know what useless lemmings they were.

Well, a useless lemming will always be a useless lemming, so I suppose they'll find new and (of course) un-inventive ways to show how un-inventive they are. But still... Why can't there be an epidemic of beards getting caught in meat grinders or something like that? The world would be such a better place.
