Just a thought - Obama vs Reagan on Russia

Reagan and Obama both faced a violent and aggressive Russia, bent on holding power over Eastern Europe.

Reagan increased military spending, made speeches explaining Russia's evil, rallied the American public and Western/Central Europe - in general, he told Russia the way things would go, and then did it.

The result was uprisings in Eastern Europe against Russia and the eventual collapse of the USSR.

Obama has eviscerated the military, replaced its leaders with feminists, expressed moral equivalence between the US and Russia, divided Americans, alienated America's allies, backtracked on deadlines and red lines - in general, he hasn't followed through on anything and has put America in a position of being unable to stand up to Russia.

The result is Russian conquest of Eastern Europe along with global expansion.

Now I'm not proposing an ideal solution. I'm not proposing any solution. But the contrast between Reagan and Obama on Russia is stark, and the results are there for all to see.
