Not to defend the French for them or anything, but in reality their country is over run with Islamic extremists which all started with Algeria. If they do anything counter to the wishes of their very vocal and violent Islamic minority they have serious hell to pay at home. All of Europe is becoming more muslem (fastest growing religion) and so it is getting harder and harder for those countries to take a stand without having utter chaos ensue. If every time we tried to do something we had a Watts riot in every major city what would we do? France is on the verge of a civil war, take a look at their political parties and what they stand for. Other countries in Europe (East and West) are in the same boat and we in America are not so far away from the same outcome as France if we don't watch the creep of certain types of political correctness (read propaganda) into our daily lives.
