Update on John Karr /JonBenet Ramsey case

This stinks to high heaven. Something is REALLY wrong with this John Karr story.

JonBenet had fallen asleep in the car so they carried her up the stairs to her room and put her to bed at 9:30 p.m. Shortly after, Patsy and John went to bed as they planned to get up early to prepare for a trip to their holiday home on Lake Michigan.

The next day, Patsy woke just after 5:00 a.m. and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. On the staircase, she found a two-and-a-half page note that said that JonBenet had been kidnapped by a "small foreign faction" and was being held for a ransom of $118,000. She was to be exchanged for the money the next day. The letter warned that if the money was not delivered, the child would be executed. Patsy yelled to John as she ran back up the stairs and opened the door to JonBenet's room. Finding she wasn't there, they made the decision to phone the police. The 911 dispatcher recorded Patsy's call at 5:25 a.m. The police arrived at the house seven minutes later.

The story today states "he drugged the child." yet according to the autopsy report

toxicological studies were performed, and "no drugs were detected."

Why this discrepancy? Is the Boulder County Coroner's office a bunch a lazy incompetents? Or is this story just not adding up??

This seems rather simple, unless there really is evidence not known to the public or 1000 private investigators concerning this awful crime.

This guy, Karr, bailed to Thailand because he was facing child porn charges here in the U.S. With more than a few screws loose, including a self deluded belief that a cover of investigating Jon Benet for a book would throw off any suspiscion he was an active pedophile, this guy continued contacting this professor by e-mail. Why? Because he is an irrational pedophile bent on his own guilt and need to satisfy his unnatural urges. Most likely obsessed with the imagery of the Ramsey child, he unknowingly hung himself with his own rope (as most criminals eventually do)by implicating himself by mistake (hundreds of e-mails about the same topic, Jon Benet? - weird). I'm thinking this whole Jon Benet connection is bogus and only an excuse for this freak to plea insanity to cover his continuing pedophelia. He probably figured he would just continue his abuse until he got caught, make up same extraordinary story, and play "crazy" to explain his behavior. Why would his wife lie about him being with her at the time of the murder in Alabama? Alabama isn't exactly next door to Colorado. See where I'm going with this?

They have DNA of "the stranger." It's either his or it isn't.

This man is lieing about killing the poor child. this is sad for girls family and this man should be punished for this.

He looks like he's the one that's been drugged. He has glazed look and he sounds like he's answering rehearsed questions.

i don't think this guy did it. he sounds like a nutball who wants attention. his wife said she has photographic evidence they werent even in colorado that christmas so there is no way he could have done it, according to her.

Looks to me like he made a deal with the devil.

Let the DNA evidence be the proof. No need to think too hard about this one.

It isn't a DNA case. The DNA isn't from semen. It could be from a person on the panty factory assembly line coughing. They found other DNA on other panties in unopened packages from the same company in the store. They tested it. It happens.

The fingernail DNA was botched in the autopsy. One clippers was used for all fingers instead of an individual sterile clipper for each nail.

There seem to be nothing but holes in this arrest so far.....among which:

1) In passing, a person asked John Mark Karr how he broke into the house. He hesitated a moment and then said "no comment" It seemed to me that he realized from the question that he could easily be shown to be a fraud unless his answer aligned perfectly with any and all physical evidence - which was a tightrope walk at best.

2) He claimed to be in love with JonBenet - this suggests that he had spent time in proximity to JonBenet, either surreptitiously, or as an observer perhaps to her beauty pageants, etc. How could this be when he never lived in Colorado?

From the looks of him on television, he looks like he already has some kind of deadly disease -- whether it is AIDS or Cancer, I don't know.

Maybe this is pure disinformation. Find a patsy to take the blame -- someone who will die of his disease before he's found guilty by a jury -- and protect the real culprit.

saw clip... guy was creepy. Local news (Huntsville, AL) said he was a teacher here locally for a while , everyone is freaking out!!!!! never trust a guy who buttons the top "neck" button on an IZOD polo shirt.... weird....

I am inclined to believe John Karr is lying. For what reason, I don't know. I watched the interview and could see by his body language and eye movement that something wasn't right. I don't know why anyone would admit to something like this if they didn't do it. Especially something this high profile.

I also find it strange that this happens shortly after Patsy Ramsey's death. There are no coincidences.

Why do you think they have dragged this guy out of the woodwork now to confess to a 10 year old murder?

Because Patsy just died in June. Now if they put some schmuck on the stand the defense can't cross-examine Patsy.
