See that little comma at the end of the verse. That means the thought is still continuing. Context.

And you have provided an interpretation of the verses that only fits your point you keep arguing about. The chapter is quite clear. Your view on the meaning is skewed. I'm not sure why you cannot see that.

God does everything on purpose and for a reason you're right about that. He knew when he created satan he knew he would turn into a being of pure evil yet he chose to create him anyway and gave him charge of a third of his angels knowing full well they'll turn into demons. You are missing a huge chunk of context. You are also expelling free will. And you are still using a literal translation.

God did not make the creation to force them to love Him. They were given free will. And this is how the fall of Lucifer came about. God does not want a souls love by force.

Every example you have cited with a less than accurate translation mind you is one of forced servitude as if Lucifer had no choice. There are those with a destiny. There are the Zoy even. But free will to choose to love God has always been.
