A bullet attachment that could save lives?
It looks like a toy attachment for a gun, but this new device is intended to give suspects a chance to live if shot

It looks pretty menacing, I assume the stopping power is more than a beanbag, considering the thing is made of steel.

Sounds great, because we all know that the perpetrator will kindly stop whatever he's doing while law enforcement is having to fumble with this piece of shit.

Nah. Its a one time fire and forget attachment. We know if cops shoot people, they fire at least 10 times.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Ironically, this would probably lead to cops shooting more, not less, as is typical with other less-lethal forms of subduing suspects. Kinda like how every other arrest these days seems to result in someone getting fried with a taser.

Then again, I can't see any police agency adopting this. How long until some asshole blows his own hand off trying to attach this thing while in a high stress situation? Probably not long.

They already have nonlethal weapons called tazers, and the pistol condom is a horrible idea.

There are good ones and bad ones. I'll gladly admit, however, that I generally have a positive view of the police. Most of them do a good job under difficult circumstances, especially in our inner cities.

Has it been tested on you OP?

You seem to have a handle on these things. You should be a beta test to confirm the results. Good luck.
