He was lucky. Several years ago in a community neighboring our's a brother and sister were killed at the sister's grad party after igniting just such a blaze. They had laid gasoline earlier and fumes had built up, when it was ignited that evening at the party they were both blown away literally.

Wow. Thats horrible.

My neighbor and friend died doing just what they did lighting fire using gasoline and he caught on fire. He died a few days later with bad burns all over his body

I once had a neighbor that did that while trying to get rid of a tree stump in his front yard. He did lots of stupid things. It was quite entertaining.

we used to light a small fire with some news paper inside of the woods and little small woodys and shit get it going

then pour the gas in to a dish of some sort

then throw it on then to the fire

you can do that all you want aslong as its burning first

A neighbor of mine did this. Only burnt her eyebrows off, luckily. Fuel air bomb. People are really dumb sometimes.

If you must use petrol to light a fire, make sure you put it in a narrowish tin can - about half full. Then carefully push some rag into the top so it fits tightly. Wait until the fuel starts to dampen the rag as it is absorbed, then light it. Will burn well for a long time.

Always - place the tin in final position before lighting, then stand back.
