I'm thinking of a new business idea.
Rent-a-Firearm, for special days like Feb 28.

After all, not everyone can afford protection
of the lethal kind.

Course to get the rental, one would have to produce
proof of citizenship, and pass the check for previous
felonies, a mere couple of minutes on the computer.

How about the rental comes with enough ammo to fully
load, extra ammo available at regular retail prices
with advice about how many might be needed for one day?

Jihad is jihad. Sleeper cells can be up to about
a dozen. That is how many there were in the camp I drove
into in west Chino AZ.

They were posing as hispanics, but just couldn't disguise
the extra foot of height.

One would have to sign ironclad waivers of liability to rent.
Of course.

Then there could be rent to own programs for the person
who is in constant danger who just can't shell out the
$600 to $2000 to get a decent piece.

And how are you going to get the rental guns back?
Send some one out to repossess them ?

That would be a fun job! Firearms recovery. And think of
the attendant reality show?
But the renter would have to leave credit or bank card info,
some kind of deposit, home, auto, child.

It would be better though to just have insurance for the
event one doesn't come back. The rental business would
have to arrange scheduled pick ups at the morgue,
so a disclaimer would have to be issued with the firearm
about no guarantee of living through etc.

I just feel bad for the guy who wants to gun up,
but has too many bills and expenses. Like feeding kids,
or keeping the wife in the style to which her father
made her accustomed.

There could be a whole accessories rack also.
