They should certainly be reminded of a few key verses.

They have withstood time and criticism.

Will post mine as soon as I decide my favorite.

Quoted mostly to Christians so they at least have an inkling of the idea that God created and transcends all concepts of duality.

Isaiah 45:7

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."

That is interesting. I have not heard about this verse before until now.

The verse pretty wells sizes it up, right there. Nothing left to wonder about.

So in a nut shell, people with kids receive no guidance
or preparation for their kids to face real life trial?"

Sad sad....

I'm afraid if I even mention Christianity in my house, I'm usually met with derision, especially from my teenage daughter. It seems God plays no part in the lives of most young people today

The 23rd Psalm:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Absolutely, one of mine as well.

I'm trying to figure out to start another thread to highlight the most important verse which believer and non-believers should recite to their kids.

Will start another thread to capture a bigger audience.

I printed this on a 4x6 piece of photographic paper and put it on the wall in my kids room by his desk when he was in the 4th grade. It stayed there until he left home.

Samuel 18:25-27 ESV

Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no bride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, that he may be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son-in-law. Before the time had expired, David arose and went, along with his men, and killed two hundred of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king, that he might become the king’s son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal for a wife
