I'm not in NH, but close about 2 hrs away, and just saw a bright, non-blinking, slow moving object that literally faded out and disappeared while watching it. It was about 20 minutes ago.

The ISS (International Space Station) flew over at about 7pm.

Bright light, then he turned the light off but I could still see him moving towards me.

Iss doesn't change altitude during orbit, meaning, you can track it on its path from one side of the horizon to the other; if the object is fading in, out, etc it is changing altitude, meaning its not the iss.

ISS doesn't move slowly, it moves fast like a satellite. What you saw is Jupiter and it will the there all night.

Op states object is moving slowly, but I guess since ur the resident expert astronomer your keen eyesight allows you to detect movement of an object that takes 8 hours to cross the horizon

But Jupiter does moves exactly like OP says it does.
