Why aren't there any Muslims in the streets to condemn radical Islam?

To my eye, it says one of two things:

1) We're silently complicit and support terror.
2) We're so terrified that our islamic brothers are going to kill us for speaking out.

From my perspective I wouldn't call ISIL radical..... they are fundamentalist Muslims. They are doing exactly what they think the Quran and the Hadiths are telling them to do. The remaining Muslims that appear to be peaceful are either lying until they have the upper hand (OK by Mohammed) or they choose to selectively ignore verses that don't suit their nature, they call it interpretation.

This would be very similar to the way Christians are as well. Some are fundamentalists and take the new testament literally while others Interpret in order to fit their desires.
